While we wait for Xiaomi Malaysia to unveil some new products tomorrow (20 May) at 8 PM (stay tuned for the livestream), the company also just recently announced that the Redmi Note 10 5G will be making its way to the Malaysian market as well. Previously, it wasn't part of the event tomorrow but that's where we will know the pricing and availability.
There are already a couple of Redmi phones around so to clear up which model is this, we will be listing out the tech specs below. For starters, the Redmi Note 10 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset so it's capable of connecting to 5G. A dual 5G SIM is also supported and we think it has the potential to be one of the most affordable 5G phones in the market.
Moreover, it also sports a 6.5-inch AdaptiveSync DotDisplay with a 90Hz refresh rate. Since it has an adaptive refresh rate technology, it's able to switch the refresh rate automatically between 30Hz to 90Hz depending on what you're doing. The Redmi Note 10 5G also has a 48MP + 2MP + 2MP triple rear camera, alongside a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging technology.
