Sony Malaysia has made it official by sending out the invites for the Sony Xperia XZ and Sony Xperia X Compact set for this Friday on 30 September 2016. Our earlier coverage showed that the Xperia XZ features about the same tech specs as the Xperia X Performance but has a new design. This includes the Snapdragon 820 and 3GB of RAM, a 5.2-inch Full HD display, and a 2800 mAh battery and USB Type-C connector.
The Xperia X Compact is a smaller Xperia X featuring a 4.6-inch LCD display of 720p resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Both will have the Sony 23MP Exmore RS sensor as the rear camera which has a three-system AF – Phase-detect, laser & infrared.
