Revealed during Apple’s recent Far Out event, the Apple iPhone 14 Series is set for pre-order this Friday (16 September 2022), though one key detail was missing from the presentation as usual - their battery capacities. Well, thanks to a Chinese regulatory database, we now know the battery capacities of each iPhone 14 model, from the iPhone 14 to the iPhone Pro Max.
As shared by MacRumors, the same Chinese regulatory database accurately revealed the battery capacities for all four iPhone 13 models last year as well as the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. It is customary for Apple to not reveal the exact battery capacity of their devices but instead use terms such as “all-day battery life”, "up to X hours of battery life" etc.
Hence, while the following information may not be confirmed as of yet, it is highly likely that they are accurate. Here are the battery capacities for all iPhone 14 models coming to consumers starting later this month:
- iPhone 14 - 3279mAh
- iPhone 14 Plus - 4325mAh
- iPhone 14 Pro - 3200mAh
- iPhone 14 Pro Max - 4323mAh
Compared to last year’s iPhone 13 lineup, all of the iPhone 14 models have larger battery capacities except for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. As for the latter, it is slightly smaller than the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s 4352mAh battery capacity.
