Based on a statement by Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, there could be a possibility that all of Apple’s iPhone 12 series smartphones might not come equipped with 120Hz display. This is most likely due to the fact that a 120Hz refresh rate display, has been known to drastically drain a smartphone’s battery life.
Given that the battery life of iPhones is usually quite small, this could mean that having 120Hz refresh rate could reduce the phone’s battery life down to a day or shorter. There could, however, be a possibility that the majority of the iPhone 12 series coming equipped with at least a 90Hz display.
On another note, our source did mention that most of the smartphones in the new series will come equipped with 5G network support. With all that said, what are your thoughts on the iPhone 12 series potentially not coming with 120Hz display?
