Previously, we mentioned the Apple iPhone 15 Pro overheating problem and how it has affected its users. Today, a trusted source confirms the company is testing new bug fixes to solve this issue. That said, what should you know about it?

According to MacRumors, Apple is now internally testing the iOS 17.0.3 update. We have yet to confirm when this update will arrive, but it is safe to assume that it could arrive at the end of the week or next week. Apple also confirms that this update won’t compromise the performance of its A17 Bionic chip.

In addition, the company says the titanium frame is not the reason why the Pro model is overheating. Hence, that rules out the hardware factor for the problem. In fact, Apple says this problem stems from the A17 Bionic chip being overloaded by gaming app such as Asphalt 9, Instagram and even Uber.

Plus, this update could arrive as part of the iOS 17.1 update. As of now, this build is in beta and is expected to arrive at the end of October.

We have yet to confirm more details on the solution or the severity of the overheating issue. Given how this issue has become infamous over the past 3 weeks, Apple will address this issue as soon as possible. At this point, iPhone fans in Malaysia will have to be patient.
