Shortly after announcing the latest MacBook Pro, AirPods 3 and a HomePod mini, Apple also added a new Polishing Cloth accessory on its website. In case you missed it, this piece of cloth cost RM99 and it has been sold out in the West.
So what's so special about this Polishing Cloth? To recap the news, it is made from a soft, non-abrasive material that is meant for wiping Apple displays particularly the Pro Display XDR. On top of that, it's also suitable for other mini-LED displays from the iPhones, iPads, MacBook Pros and iMacs. According to sources, customers in the West will have to wait until 18 - 24 of November 2021 for restocking.
Just some more extra information, Apple's support document on the Polishing Cloth said it's best to use it with minimal wiping. If deep cleaning is needed, the company recommends 70% of isopropyl alcohol solution. It can also be hand washed with dish soap and water.
