Apple has just announced the new iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro along with the new iOS 14 last week. Today, a well-known analyst Guo MingHao suggests that Apple will cancel the charger to reduce the costs for the new iPhone 12 and also iPhone SE.

According to the analyst, the cost of the materials on the iPhone 12 has increased significantly due to the support of 5G but the company wishes to maintain a similar selling price of the iPhone 12 with the iPhone 11. Initially, Guo MingHao predicted to cancel off the headset but it seems like the headset won’t seal the cost so he is expecting to see all iPhone 12 to pack without the charger as well.

In fact, there will be a new 20W charger coming in very soon which we spotted on twitter last week. Guo Ming Hao expected it to be mass-produced that becomes an optional accessory for iPhone users. The analyst also said that no wireless charging board will be included in the package as well as Apple wants the shipment of the wireless charging accessories to grow. Furthermore, he also predicted these changes might be followed by Android phones in the near future as well.

Either way, there is still no official confirmation on what will be coming in the iPhone 12 package yet so do take this with a pinch of salt. But will the lack of accessories stop you from buying the iPhone 12? Let us know at our Facebook page and stay tuned for more updates on TechNave.com!
