It was only recently that realme Malaysia released the realme 12 Pro+ 5G and realme 12+ 5G at the end of February 2024. The next one will be the realme 12 5G which is coming soon but no official launch date has been announced yet.
That said, one special feature that was mentioned during its launch in India is its Dynamic Button. Yes, it's the same function as the Action Button on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. With this, it marks the realme 12 5G as the first Android phone to have such a feature.
Just like the Action Button, the Dynamic Button is positioned on the right side of the realme 12 5G and lets users access a few applications. By double-pressing on the Dynamic Button, users can quickly access different functions such as silent mode, flashlight, camera, aeroplane mode, night mode and sports mode. Not only that, they can also access Touch n’ Go, TikTok, Instagram and more.
To recap the tech specs, the realme 12 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, 6GB/8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 5000mAh battery with a 45W fast charging technology, a 6.7-inch 120Hz IPS LCD, a 108MP main camera and runs on Android 14 via realme UI 5. Its starting price begins at INR16999 (~RM971) in India.
