We talked about Xiaomi's foldable and leafless fan product before, so here comes another Xiaomi smart life product that looks really cool (#punintended). In another collaboration with Youpin, the company released a bladeless handheld fan (no official English name for this) and you can get this from as low as 39 Yuan (~RM23)

Using a minimalist design as usual, this compact bladeless fan uses a 7-aerofoil at the bottom to form a high-pressure air-flow. The air-flow will then be transferred to the top and pressurized again providing a wind speed of up to 7.52m/s, which can be adjustable. This also, in turn, generates a more natural wind flow with 3 different airspeed settings.

In addition, the “U-shaped” design of the bladeless fan actually brings in a large volume of air yet able to reduce the motor power consumption and noise. It's sophisticated, but the internal design keeps the modules in the handle running coaxially and the high-pressure airflow passes silently. The fan operation sound is around 55dB which is pretty quiet.

By the way, you'd be surprised to learn that this compact handheld device has a 2000mAh battery in it and can last up for 10 hours. In terms of size, it measures 195.5 x 69 x 57.5 mm so this device can easily fit into a handbag or even your pocket when walking around.

Currently, the recommended retail price is 69 Yuan (~RM41) but the crowdfunding has brought it down to just 39 Yuan (~RM23) which we mentioned. Would you get one? You can visit the online store here and we think it'll come in handy especially for a humid country like Malaysia. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
