OnePlus has been marketing the OnePlus 7 Pro aggressively these few weeks with little to no mention about the standard OnePlus 7. Some press renders have finally surfaced for the less talked about device and it looks very similar to its predecessor, the OnePlus 6T.

The OnePlus 7 features a waterdrop notch with a much wider earpiece, doubling as one of the two stereo speakers. The bezels on the side remain the same size as before which isn’t a bad thing as they’re already pretty thin as is. You’ll find dual rear cameras on the back unlike on the OnePlus 7 Pro which has a triple camera setup. Sensors on the OnePlus 7 include a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and comes in a circle shaped LED flash. The device utilizes a USB-C port, an alert and power button on the right side of the phone and the volume buttons on the left.

The OnePlus 7

As of right now, more tech specs that we know of for the OnePlus 7 include a 6.41 inch FHD+ AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB/8GB + 128GB/256GB of internal storage, 4150mAh battery capacity with 30W Warp Charge fast charging technology. Compared to the Pro, the device does sound a little less exciting without the 90Hz refresh, pop up selfie camera and triple rear camera setup but we can count on the device being a lot more friendly on our wallets. On the bight side, both devices will feature UFS 3.0.

Speaking of the OnePlus 7 Pro, new renders for the device have emerged showing off a brand new Almond colour. The renders also show off the OnePlus 7 Pro. The curved screens on the side remind us of the Samsung Galaxy S10 device and the bezels are very thin so users can enjoy an almost bezel-less display thanks to the pop up selfie camera.

The OnePlus 7 Pro in all its glory

To make the display even better, the device comes with a 90Hz refresh rate on the 6.67 inch screen, fitting with the hastag #fastandsmooth. We expect the device to launch in 3 colours: Mirror Grey, Almond, and Nebula Blue on the 14th of May. So which one would you choose? The OnePlus 7 or the OnePlus 7 Pro?
