It was only recently that an alleged Nothing Phone (2a) in a concealed case got leaked online. It's easy to dismiss this as another rumoured news of the day but recently, popular leakster @Onleaks on Twitter X has collaborated with Smartprix.com on a seemingly official render image of the device.
According to the sources, the Phone (2a) could have a new glyph design and retain two rear cameras. Compared with the Phone (2), the huge oval circular glyph design was relocated to the top and it became smaller too. On top of that, it looks like Nothing's Glyph Interface lightning isn't present on the Phone (2a).
Sooo... Seems like the #Nothing Phone 2a leaks were wrong or at least not that reliable so far because...

THIS actually is the #NothingPhone2a! (very first look through official press render)

Of course, this Phone (2a) design is most likely based on a pre-production sample unit so that's why we aren't seeing any Glyph Interface LED lights yet. But since Nothing is planning to release this as a mid-range tier device, we won't be surprised to see it disappear entirely but that's just our speculation.
Nothing has yet to reveal when the Nothing Phone (2a) will be released, but we do know that it's in the plans for this year. What do you think of the device design, though? We think it looks unique. Until then, stay tuned for the official news by Nothing.
