TikTok Awards Malaysia celebrates and acknowledges Malaysia’s best content creators.

Recently, we mentioned the TikTok awards, what it is all about and where you can find your favs. Yesterday, the event took place at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) Kuala Lumpur on 27th August 2023. In case you didn’t know, this event is a celebration of content creators in shaping the creative and content creation industry in Malaysia.

TikTok Awards was presented in two main segments: People's Choice Awards and Judge’s Pick Awards. For the People’s Choice Awards, you can vote for your favourite content creators. Meanwhile, winners for the Judge’s Pick Awards were chosen by an executive panel comprising Media Prima Television Networks and Primeworks Studios Chief Executive Officer, Nini Yusof, prolific performer and honorary guest Hael Husaini and TikTok General Manager Operations & Marketing, Southeast Asia, Angga Anugrah Putra.

These are the winners of both the People’s Choice Awards and Judge’s Pick Awards:
People's Choice Awards:

• Rising Star of the Year: Ikhmal Nour
• Popular Creator of the Year: Ryan Bakery
• Celebrity of the Year: Aeril Zafrel
• Popular Animation Account of The Year: Upin & Ipin
• LIVE Creator of the Year: Tigerlabu
• TikTok Shop Creator of the Year: Anas Zahrin

Judge's Pick Awards:
• Best of Beauty & Fashion: Shahira Azlan
• Best of Education: Sir Asai
• Best of Entertainment: Eiqa Maleq
• Best of Foodie: Syifa Jamill
• Best of Gaming: Sultan Riq
• Best of Sports: Khalish
