Today, Opensignal is back once again with another report and this time it's the Global Mobile Network Experience Awards 2021. It wasn't too long ago that they presented us with their 10th Anniversary Global Awards 2020 last year, so if you're wondering what's new in the latest one - here's what you need to know.
Starting with U Mobile, Opensignal reported that the orange telco subscribers are experiencing improvements in mobile network connectivity. U Mobile happens to be the only one of 14 operators to be a Global Rising Star in four out of five categories, which are Video Experience, Voice App Experience, Download Speed Experience and 4G Availability. U Mobile had the 3rd highest percentage increase in that category with 36.6%.
Both Unifi and Digi were also mentioned in the report with their own achievements. For one, Unifi's Video Experience and Download Speed Experience performed well and granted the company a Global Rising Star status. On average, Unifi's Video Experience score increased by 13.1% and as for Digi, their Upload Speed Experience rose by 26.8% which is more than double the average global increase of 11.3%.
