Right after the US government had given license to firms for supplying chips to Huawei, the next good news to the China tech company is getting the approval to work with Sony and OmniVision once again for receiving their tech components.

With this, it means Huawei, Sony and OmniVision are now licensed and back to business. In case you didn't know, both Sony and OmniVision are the top two leading camera imaging sensor suppliers. Besides Apple, Sony is also known to provide premium CMOC image sensor chips to Huawei as well, which is why Huawei smartphone cameras are technically one of the best. By the way, the latest Huawei Mate 40 series is equipped with Sony imaging sensors.

However, an anonymous told sources that Sony will still monitor the situation about their business with Huawei. This is because Huawei still requires reliable suppliers for chips and other tech components. If they can't, they simply won't be able to function in the smartphone industry and might not payback.

Besides Sony and OmniVision, other tech companies such as Samsung, Intel and AMD have resumed business with Huawei as well. Qualcomm and MediaTek are still awaiting license approval from the US government. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
