Based on a statement by a user on weibo, it seems that the upcoming Redmi smartphone could come equipped with a large 6000mAh internal battery which supports 22.5W fast charging. While not much is known in regards to the exact release date, we do know that it will most likely be unveiled before the end of 2020.
Other than what was mentioned that the upcoming smartphone is expected to come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, 6.53-inch FHD+ display, and the battery spec mentioned above. Camera-wise, the phone has a triple rear camera with a 48MP main sensor, while the front remains largely unknown.
With all that said, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Xiaomi has yet to provide an official statement on the leak. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs for now.
