Last year, Valve announced that it would release the Steam Deck in February 2022. The company wanted to ship the first batch of its handheld console last year, but supply issues slowed things down. Now, Valve has confirmed the actual release date.
In an official announcement, Valve said that those who reserved the Steam Deck would get their chance to buy the console starting 25 February 2022. You will have 72 hours upon receiving an order email to make your official purchase. On 28 February, Valve will start shipping the consoles to those who've made a purchase.

The company also mentioned that order emails will be sent every week, so those who missed the first one can make their purchases later. Mind you, the Steam Deck is currently available only in the US, Canada, European Union, and the UK. The company has never mentioned any possible global launch dates, so you'll have to import one if you want it.
With that said, are any of you planning to get the Steam Deck? What's the first game you want to play on it? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news about it.
