Vivo has always been innovative when it comes to their smartphones and the upcoming vivo V17 Pro is no exception. This device has been confirmed to feature a dual pop up selfie camera and a quad rear camera setup.
A vivo store’s Facebook page had made a post with the hashtags #comingsoon and #preorder. With this info, we can safely predict that the device should be announced in Malaysia very, very soon.
The vivo V17 Pro has been expected to come with tech specs that include the Snapdragon 675 chipset, up to 8GB RAM, up to 128GB internal storage, a 6.44 inch AMOLED display with optical in-display fingerprint reader, 4100mAh battery and USB-C port.
Now here comes the interesting part: The camera. The vivo V17 Pro has been confirmed to launch with a quad camera setup on the back with 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors. The selfie camera is really where my interest is piqued.
We’ve seen dual selfie cameras on smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S10+ but the vivo V17 Pro could be the first dual pop up selfie camera on the market. The selfie cameras may be equipped with 32MP + 2MP sensors which means that the device may be able to capture some solid portrait shots.
