Previously, we mentioned how WhatsApp released a Voice Message Transcript feature for those with hearing issues. According to TechCrunchthe company is working on an “Unsubscribe” feature from business and promo spam. That said, what should you know about it?

For your information, WhatsApp allows various businesses to create their own WhatsApp account to communicate with customers, whether it is a place to place orders, an order assistance service or a promotional message sender. This new feature allows you to press a button to immediately stop receiving any message.

If you join any of these WhatsApp messages like Shopee, WhatsApp, Meta, Max and others, you will regularly receive messages either daily or weekly. Shopee is the major culprit here, with frequent reminders of vouchers expiring and spammy various promotional sales messages. To deal with this, you can press the option of interest, disinterest or continue to stop receiving messages from a business.

Currently, it is still uncertain when this feature will be rolled out to all users. Hopefully, Meta will roll this update out soon.
