Wiko trio comparison, what's the difference? - Wiko Highway Pure vs Wiko Fever vs Wiko Lenny2

As Wiko will be making their debut tomorrow for the first time in Malaysia, the three smartphones that we have mentioned earlier today – Wiko Highway Pure 4GFever 4G and Lenny2, will be presented. Granted, these three smartphones are actually entry – mid range level only; so we took an overall look at the three devices to see what's the difference between the three Wikos'. Take a read below to find out.

Tech Specs and performance - Feel the "Fever"

First up, the Wiko Fever is the clear winner of having the best tech specs among the three. It sports a 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6753 octa-core processor and 3GB RAM, internal storage starts from 32GB and can be expanded up to 64GB, both cameras (13MP for the rear and 5MP for the front) are equipped with LED flash too, and the screen is the biggest with 5.2-inch (1080 x 1920 pixel resolution) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. However, the Android version is still 5.1 Lollipop.

Lenny2 and Highway Pure aren't that bad either, but both of these smartphones' tech specs are kind of a mixed bag if you compare them together. In fact, despite Lenny2 being an entry-level smartphone it still has some winning points against the Highway Pure; for example, even though Lenny2's internal memory is only 4GB, it can be backed up by its expandable memory up to 64GB, whereas the Highway Pure has to rely on its 16GB of internal storage only.

The screen is slightly bigger too with a 5-inch (Highway Pure is 4.8-inch) display, and the same goes with the Android OS version too since the Highway Pure is oddly enough only at 4.4.4 Kit Kat. But other than that, Highway Pure wins in the camera section (8MP + 5MP vs 5MP + 2MP, both rear camera have flash), it has better screen resolution too with 720 x 1280 and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Also, both of their processor are more or less the same; Highway Pure sports 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 quad-core processor, while Lenny 2 features a 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6580M quad-core processor.

That being said, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out which device performs the best. Fever should be able to perform the best with its tech specs, it also has the biggest battery capacity (2900 mAh) followed by Highway Pure (2000 mAh) and Lenny 2 (1800 mAh). Design and Features - Highway Pure shines

Now, design wise. The Highway Pure is certainly the most beautiful one out of the three. Looking closely at the volume and power button on the side, they're all actually covered by Swarovski Zirconia stones. If you don't know what that is, Swarovski Zirconia are actually artificial diamonds giving the Highway Pure a more trendy and fashionable appearance. This device is likely aimed at the female target audience, since it only weighs 98 grams and measures 141.9 x 68.1 x 5.1mm.

The Fever, on the other hand, has this cool glow-in-the-dark feature on its smartphone outline around it. I guess if you happen to lose it in some darkened disco room, you'll have no trouble finding it glowing in the dark. The Lenny2 is the heaviest standing at 156 grams as compared to the Fever at 143 grams, both sizes are quite similar as well (the Lenny 2  measures in at 154.4 x 73.2 x 9mm vs Fever's 14.8 x 73.8 x 8.3mm).

Oh, before I forget. The Lenny 2 is the only one lacking a 4G LTE connection.

Price and Conclusion - The three Wikos have a different purpose

With these three distinguished devices, if you're more into the tech specs performance, then the Fever is the one to go for at a pretty reasonable price of RM799 only. The most expensive one is the Highway Pure at RM999, which is weird because the tech specs are not on par with the Fever; but I guess this has to do something with the shiny stones on the sides, the ladies would definitely like this one. And finally, the Lenny 2 is the most affordable at RM299 only. Considering the tech specs and price, those who aren't looking for much should consider that one, they just have to bear the lack of 4G LTE connectivity only. As for me, I'd probably take the Fever model just because it has better tech specs.

So what do you think of the comparison? Are you looking forward to having a smartphone brand from France? Stay tuned for tomorrow as we will be covering Wiko's debut and finding out more about them!
