Previously, we reported that Xiaomi is allegedly planning to rebrand its software, MIUI into something new. Well, we might not have to wait long to see this all-new OS in action, as a new leak claims that it will be powering the upcoming Xiaomi 14.

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming flagship is now already in mass production. He added that the Xiaomi 14 is really good-looking with super narrow 1mm bezels around the display.

He also alluded that the upcoming smartphone will feature a new system feature that is smooth. Well, the wording is definitely intended by Digital Chat Station, as he was the one who leaked Xiaomi’s alleged plan to rebrand MIUI.

The new OS is likely to be named MiOS and will have a much more significant change than just a name rebrand. Rumours point to the new OS to be not reliant on Google services and can be used on all devices, including tablets and even laptops.

Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet. Hence, do stay tuned to TechNave for the latest developments on this and for more trending tech news.
