Today, on Xiaomi Malaysia's Facebook page, the company has officially teased its upcoming flagship for January 2019. While they didn't say what smartphone it was, the tagline - "SLIDING IN SOON" is an obvious hint on the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 and the price says under RM2500. For all we know, we think it's probably going to be RM2499 (more or less) and reserved for the 8GB + 256GB model that was revealed in China.
On that note, there are currently three Mi Mix 3 models in China which are the 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and the latter that we mentioned just now. From the last time that we calculated, the starting price could start from ~RM1978 from a direct currency conversion, followed by ~RM2158. Judging from the prices, we say it's quite reasonable and that'd be a fantastic price tag for Malaysians.
Just a quick recap on the tech specs, it sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, a 6.39-inch full-screen AMOLED display with a magnetic slider hiding the 24MP + 2MP dual front camera and many more. You can check out the full list over here.
