After the Mix 4, most Xiaomi fans must have moved their focus onto the upcoming Mi 12 series. Following the Mi 11's launch schedule, the Mi 12 should come by the end of the year. Earlier, it was reported that the device would be presented during mid-December, but the latest speculation is saying that it will arrive in November instead.

Other than a November launch window, it's also known that the Mi 12 will be the first to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor. However, it's said that the device won't be getting the latest operating system update, which is MIUI 13. Therefore, the Mi 12 will probably use the MIUI 12.5 enhanced version. For now, it's best to take this new information with a pinch of salt.

Other than that, previous rumours suggested that the Mi 12 could also use an LTPO adaptive refresh rate screen, with the ability to adjust the refresh rate automatically based on the content. It's also said it would come with 100W wired charging, but less than 50W for wireless charging due to China's policy change.
