After a number of leaks and previous release dates, it looks like Xiaomi Senior VP Liwan Jiang has made it official, confirming that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be announced on 24 February 2016. Tech specs and features for the Mi 5 could include the latest Snapdragon 820 processor, either 3GB or 4GB RAM, 16GB / 32GB / 64GB storage and more. While this has not been confirmed, many industry watchers are expecting the Mi 5 to come with other Xiaomi devices as well.
