Xiaomi Mi Max 3 (RM1099) and Mi Band 3 (RM129) coming to Malaysia on 27 September 2018

Today, Xiaomi Malaysia announced that they will officially bring in the much-awaited Mi Max 3 and the latest wearable, the Mi Band 3 into the Malaysia market. Both scheduled for 27 September 2018 release, the Mi Max 3 (4GB+64GB) retails at RM1099 in black, while the wearable is priced RM129 and will be sold at all Authorised Mi Stores, as well as on the company's online store in Lazada and Shopee.

A quick rundown of the Mi Max 3 tech-specs, this mid-range device has a monstrous 5500mAh battery which has a standby time of 474 hours and can even act as a power bank itself with 5V/1.2A output (and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 in 9V/2A output). The screen panel is massively big as well standing at 6.9-inch in 2160 x 1080 resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. On top of that, it runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB ROM, a 12MP+5MP AI dual camera setup and more.

Then for the Mi Band 3, it features a tiny 0.78-inch OLED display that can now display messages along with the standard time, date and number of steps taken. Users can even navigate by swiping up, down, left and right to scroll through menu items. The touch button is still there too as a home button or activating heart rate or clearing notifications, as well as having new features including a built-in stopwatch, a phone locating function, an alarm (even if the smartphone is turned off) and has 5 ATM water resistance grade.
