There have been plenty and leaks about the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 in recent months. But it wasn't till earlier this week that the launch date was revealed. It's even hinted that the device will come with two new features, and now possible confirmation on the chipset.

According to MySmartPrice, the Xiaomi 2106118C device spotted on Geekbench is the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4. It features a new CPU with the codename ARM Odin, which is believed to be the Snapdragon 888+ chipset. Despite being the Plus variant of the Snapdragon 888, it uses the 'odin' motherboard instead of 'lahaina'. As such, you can probably consider this a new chipset architecture.

Besides that, there are other details we can glean from the benchmark record. For instance, one of the CPU cores is likely the Cortex-X1 core with a maximum clock speed of 3GHz. The device will also have 12GB of RAM and come with Android 11 out of the box. Sources also suggest that there will be a variant with 8GB of RAM, while the storage configuration will be 256GB and 512GB.

While the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra already has an amazing camera setup, the Mi Mix 4 is expected to be even better and pack a 108MP camera. Of course, that's unconfirmed at the moment, so do stay tuned to TechNave.com for more updates about this.
