Just last week, Xiaomi hinted at a new TV that's coming soon. Specifically, Xiaomi TV's General Manager posted an image on Weibo showing what seems to be a new OLED TV. Well, it turns out that its launch is happening sooner than we had expected.

In an official Weibo announcement, Xiaomi has confirmed that the new Mi TV 6 series of Smart TVs would be launching on 28 June 2021. Based on the tagline on the teaser poster, the company will be launching two flagship-class TVs with a focus on video quality. If that's accurate, then they could both be OLED TVs. This is because OLED is currently considered the best display panel when it comes to visual quality.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 5 series was launched back in 2019 and was available in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch sizes. We can probably expect the new Mi TV 6 series to have similar sizes. Aside from that, there's not much else we know at the moment. The posts mentioned challenging the visual quality achievable by TVs below the 10000 yuan (~RM6416) range, so the prices could be relatively reasonable.

We can't confirm anything until we get more details though. But would you be interested in getting an OLED TV if it's that affordable? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates on this.
