Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 won’t launch globally, to remain China-exclusive

One of the most anticipated foldable smartphones this year, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 was recently launched in China. If you’re outside the country and planning to get the device officially, we’ve got some bad news as it won’t be released globally.

This was confirmed by Xiaomi’s Communication Director Daniel Desjarlais on X, who announced that the Mix Fold 3 will remain exclusive to Mainland China. Of course, this comes as no surprise as its predecessor, Mix Fold 2 was also China-exclusive.

Nevertheless, it’s still quite disappointing for Xiaomi fans or those looking for a foldable smartphone, given that the device has top-of-the-line specs and is the thinnest horizontal folding phone. Hence, if you’re outside of China and want to get the Mix Fold 3, importing it is the way to go.

Besides that, the Redmi K60 Ultra, which was launched at the same time as the Mix Fold 3 is also expected to be China-exclusive. However, the Redmi K60 Ultra is touted to launch globally under a different name - Xiaomi 13T Pro.

Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed yet. Until then, do stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news such as this.
