Besides the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the Xiaomi Pad 6 series was also unveiled at the event. There are two variants - the vanilla Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro so here's everything you need to know about the specifications, pricing and availability.
For starters, both the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro feature a different mobile processor. The pro variant has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, whereas the vanilla Pad 6 uses a Snapdragon 870. Nonetheless, both share the same 11-inch 2.8K IPS LCD and support a 144Hz refresh rate. It's worth noting that both have quad Dolby Atmos speaker systems too.
Xiaomi Pad 6 specs
Next, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro has a higher camera specs setup with a 50MP primary camera and a 20MP front camera, whereas the Pad 6 only gets 13MP and 8MP respectively. The pro's battery pack is slightly smaller than the latter's, though, which is 8600mAh and 8840mAh respectively but the charging speed differs with 67W and 33W for the two models.
In terms of pricing, below are the price tags for each model based on different memory configurations:
- Xiaomi Pad 6 (6GB + 128GB) - 1999 Yuan (~RM1288)
- Xiaomi Pad 6 (8GB + 128GB) - 2099 Yuan (~RM1353)

The Xiaomi Pad 6 series pre-orders have already begun and the official sales launch will start on 21 April 2023. We expect the tablets to go internationally, such as in Malaysia but until then, we will have to wait and see if Xiaomi Malaysia makes an official announcement.
