As previously mentioned, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is officially launched today at Online Mi Store Lazada retail outlets and other authorised distributors (such as ERA International Network Sdn Bhd) nationwide. The company's Redmi Note series is now made in all premium metal body, the first device (in any of their series) to be in black in colour, 2.5D curved glass, as well as having a 14nm LPP FinFET chip allowing power efficiency by 20% resulting thermal reduction. Available in Black and Gold for now, the Redmi Note 4 now sports a more slimmer, tapered edges and thanks to the 14nm FinFET chipset it can now stay 25% longer on its battery life (on average). Camera features are also much improved with the BSI CMOS and larger pixels (1.12μm), and a new Pro Beautify for the front camera that intelligently enhances the user's face beautifully (but not too much). On the other hand, although the MIUI 8 is still based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, there is a beta preview for Android 7.0 Nougat for those who are curious.
