The anticipated Xiaomi event saw the launch of the powerful Mi Mix 4 smartphone. But it's not the only device that was launched yesterday night. The company had a few other interesting products to show the world, and one of them is the Xiaomi Sound.
According to Gizmochina, the Xiaomi Sound is a compact Bluetooth speaker. It's a rather elegant looking device, with a tube-shaped body in silver or black colours. Xiaomi built this to last, with its internal structure designed in a way to allow it to output powerful sound. This is thanks to the dual-suspension passive radiators inside, which can deliver 90dB of 360-degree omnidirectional Hi-Res Audio.

The bass is expected to be excellent too. Xiaomi has included Harman AudioEFX in the smart speaker, allowing it to deliver rich bass as low as 70Hz. It has an algorithm to regulate audio quality and volume, so the sound won't disturb people at certain times like the night. Moreover, you can link up to 8 of these speakers using Ultra-Wide-Band connectivity for a greater audio experience.
Best of all, the Xiaomi Sound is only retailing for 499 yuan (~RM326), which is quite affordable for a surround sound wireless speaker. Having said that, would you be interested in it if it launches in Malaysia? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
