Wireless audio products used to be among the few and premium, but there are so many options these days. Among them is the Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro, which was launched in China at the end of September 2021. We haven't heard from it ever since, but Xiaomi might be gearing up for a global launch soon.
According to 91Mobiles, the Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro could be heading to India next. What's worth noting is that a global launch could also come soon. Relatively affordable high-quality wireless earbuds are popular in emerging markets like Malaysia, so we won't be surprised if our country gets the new model next. Currently, the estimated launch window is December 2021 to January 2022.
So, what does the Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro offer? Firstly, it will offer a very powerful noise cancellation function. It's confirmed that the earbuds can suppress up to 40 decibels of noise, making them highly suitable for noisy environments like airports. Moreover, it's expected to deliver Hi-Fi audio thanks to the LHDC 4.0 codec, and up to 27 hours of audio playback (with ANC disabled).
As for the price, the Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro retailed in China for 699 yuan (~RM463), so we're expecting the local price to be around the same. We don't know when it will arrive in Malaysia. But until then, do stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about that.
