Earlier this week, Xiaomi confirmed that it was launching a new smartwatch. And yesterday night, it was unveiled with the Xiaomi 12 series, Xiaomi Buds 3, and a new WiFi variant of the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro. So what's new this time? Well, let's take a look at the Watch S1, shall we?
As you can see from the official announcement, the Xiaomi Watch S1 is a smartwatch that follows the design of a classic watch. It has a steel body, uses sapphire glass for the watch face, and comes with a leather strap (rubber strap also available) for a stylish look. On top of that, it has two side buttons and biometric sensors at the bottom.
The Watch S1 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, so you can expect animations to be smooth. It also has a sizable 470mAh battery that can last up to 24 days in power-saving mode. In terms of features, it has Bluetooth calling, 117 sports modes, and 5ATM water resistance. As for the sensors, it has a heart-rate tracker, blood-oxygen monitor, and can track your sleep patterns.
From the looks of it, Xiaomi wants this smartwatch to be a fashionable piece with good functionality. But what are your thoughts about it so far? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
