Previously, we reported that Xiaomi Malaysia will release the Xiaomi 13 series in our country next Monday (27 February 2023). Well, the launching event may also see the debut of the Xiaomi Watch S2 as the smartwatch was recently spotted on the SIRIM database.

According to GizmoChina, the Watch S2 bears the model number M2207W1 on the SIRIM database, with the certification pretty much alluding to its imminent launch in Malaysia. Given that the Chinese tech firm is holding a launching event next week, it is very likely that the smartwatch will be released alongside the Xiaomi 13 series.

Xiaomi already launched the Watch S2 in China, hence the specs and features of the wearable should come as no surprise when it launches globally and in Malaysia. As a recap, the smartwatch comes with an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, with the 42mm variant having a 1.32-inch screen and the 46mm configuration having a 1.43-inch display.

It also has the usual health monitoring features, including heart rate, SpO2 and temperature sensors.

However, unlike other smartwatches out there, the wearable sports a body composition measurement feature that records data like fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, protein volume and more.
