With the launch of the Xiaomi 14 series, the company has also released HyperOS, its new operating system replacing MIUI on new devices moving forward. Speaking of which, Xiaomi has also updated its end-of-life (EOL) devices on its support page to include some flagship devices from 2020.

Spotted by Kacper Skrzypek, he shared the link and screenshots of the EOL list on X. Most notably, the updated list includes the MI 10T, Mi 10T Pro and POCO X3.

For reference, all 3 smartphones made their debuts in the second half of 2020, meaning that their software support ended after 3 years. This is in line with the promise of 3 years of OS and security updates when the phones are launched.

Thankfully, Xiaomi and other smartphone manufacturers have upped their game in terms of software support, with the Xiaomi 14 series promising 4 generations of OS updates and 5 years of security updates. Most notable of all has got to be Google though, which promised a whopping 7 years of updates for the Pixel 8 series.

So, what do you guys think of software support ending on the 3 Xiaomi smartphones? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
