Xiaomi hinting the Mi 9 could appear in MWC 2019

The Mobile World Congress 2019 is coming real soon and many smartphone brands will be turning up to show off what they have in their sleeves. Like most smartphone brands, Xiaomi will be showing up and have just released a teaser image with a tagline "We Make It Happen". It's very ambiguous, but it's heavily implied on speed since there's a person running and it could point to a new smartphone instead of a technology. Perhaps the Mi 9?

While we did a rumoured post about the Mi 9 before, the news surfaced again when a Xiaomi smartphone just recently passed through certification in Singapore with M1902F1G as its codename. Also elsewhere on a Weibo thread, Xiaomi did a reply teaser on the user's question of the Mi 9, indicating that it's coming soon this month. COINCIDENCE? I don't think so.

Anyway, the tech specs of the Mi 9 is a juicy one but do take it with a pinch of salt. It's said to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, 6GB of RAM, an in-display fingerprint sensor (on a larger scale), a triple camera setup, a super 27W fast charging technology and should also run on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Also, we don't think it's the new foldable phone as it's still in development, but it could certainly make an appearance there.

So what do you think? Stay tuned for more MWC news as we will be taking a hike there to check it out, only at TechNave.com.
