Xiaomi & iQOO reveal which phones will use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset

Yesterday, Qualcomm announced that a new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 will be launching soon and a couple of Android brands will be adopting it. Xiaomi also confirmed that a new device will be equipped with it and the phone was revealed on its Weibo page. 

On Xiaomi's Weibo page, the phone was revealed to be the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro. Compared with its predecessors, having a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is quite a big upgrade from the Dimensity 8200 Ultra. On the other hand, Redmi also confirmed that a new phone will be using the same chipset, and the iQOO Z9 series will be the first in the lineup as well which is launching in April

In case you missed it, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 was revealed by Qualcomm yesterday and from the looks of it, the chipset will cater to mid-range tier phones. The new chipset is designed to enhance user experiences, fostering creativity and productivity in their daily lives via AI features. Qualcomm also said the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is 20% faster in CPU Performance and 15% more energy efficient than the predecessor.
