Besides the Xiaomi 14/14 Ultra and new wearables, the company also announced its “Human x Car x Home” smart ecosystem at MWC Barcelona 2024. As reported before, the Xiaomi SU7 is the company's first attempt at an electric vehicle (EV) and it has finally made its debut on the international stage.
Under the theme “Human x Car x Home", it's a smart ecosystem by Xiaomi to merges personal devices, smart home products, and cars. With HyperOS as the core, this cross-device collaboration ensures consistent operations across areas of Xiaomi's integrated smart-life platform. It can integrate over 200 product categories incorporating 600 million global devices, and covering more than 95% of user scenarios.
Xiaomi EV's first product - the highly anticipated Xiaomi SU7, is positioned as a "full-size high-performance eco-technology sedan" that integrates performance, ecosystem integration, and the mobile smart space. Alongside Xiaomi SU7 design, Xiaomi has developed the five core EV technologies: E-Motor, CTB Integrated Battery, Xiaomi Die-Casting, Xiaomi Pilot Autonomous Driving, and Smart Cabin.
The Xiaomi SU7 was made possible thanks to the investment of over CNY 10 billion RMB in R&D, and a global team of more than 3,400 engineers and 1,000 technical experts in key areas. Xiaomi has also vowed to reach carbon neutrality by the year 2040 to recycle 38,000 tons of electronic waste from 2022 to 2026.
