Xiaomi is one of the smartphone manufacturers that always comes up with innovative ideas. Earlier, a patent has shown up revealing that the company is interested in making a device with a detachable display to match different functions. Now, it appears that they might also be working on smartphones with a triple pop-up selfie camera.
A bunch of patent images of a Xiaomi smartphone have been published and they revealed a pretty interesting design. From the patent, you can see that the pop-up camera which usually comes with only one sensor has been upgraded to three on the device. Other than that, it looks like the device has been folded in half as well.
The images are actually created from sketches that appeared in the databases of the National Intellectual Property Office of China and the World Intellectual Property Office. It is also mentioned that the production of this device may start soon at the Wingtech factory. True or not, we should still wait for any official announcement from Xiaomi to confirm the existence of the device.
