In August last year, we reported that Xiaomi is planning to launch its very own smartphone chipset sometime in 2025. Now, the Xiaomi SoC is now confirmed, with the company CEO Lei Jun taking to Weibo to announce its name and launch timeframe, so read on to learn more.
As reported by GSMArena, which sourced Lei Jun’s Weibo post, the in-house Xiaomi SoC will be named “Xuanjie O1” in China and “XRING O1” globally. Furthermore, the Xiaomi CEO revealed that the chipset will make its debut much sooner than expected, which is later this month!
