The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 has been in the rumour mills for a while, with its retail box even being recently spotted online. Now, the company has finally confirmed the announcement date for the foldable smartphone, which would be held next Monday (14 August).
This was confirmed by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun on Twitter, who also shared a poster for the Mix Fold 3 announcement. The event next week is part of Lei Jun’s annual speech and will be streamed online at 7pm GMT +8 on 14 August.
The poster also showed glimpses of the foldable smartphone design, including its thin dimensions. You can also see the Mix Fold 3’s quad-camera setup on the poster, as well as the Leica branding on the side.
In a separate Twitter post, Lei Jun shared official renders of the Mix Fold 3, including a variant in a beige colour. The Xiaomi CEO added that if he could describe the device in 3 words, it'll be slim, elegant, and premium.
