YTL and FrogAsia collaborate to help government school students learn from home

Due to the Movement Control Order (MCO), schools across the country have been forced to close. With the looming possibility of an extension to the MCO, parents are looking for other ways to continue their kids' education. To aid students who attend government schools, YTL Foundation is launching the "Learn From Home Initiative".

The initiative is a collaboration between YES (a subsidiary of YTL) and FrogAsia. Through the initiative, students will get access to FrogPlay Mobile a mobile app that provides questions for core subjects taught in our national syllabus. The questions will be based on material provided by Pelangi and will be in the form of game quizzes, to keep the school children interested.

Also, parents can get a free 4G YES prepaid SIM card for each child. Each SIM card will provide 40GB of data that will be valid for a total of 60 days. Assuming the MCO is not prolonged, this should be more than enough for you to ensure your kids continue to learn during this period.

You can find more details about the program and request the free SIM card from the YTL Foundation website. With that said, will you be using this service to help your kid learn from home? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news like this.

[Update] The MCO has officially been extended till 15 April 2020, so this initiative has even more value in our opinion.
