As reported before, the Yoodo brand will shut down its operations after 29 August 2024 but there is another announcement made. Today, the company said it will disable some functions on the Yoodo app so read on if you're a Yoodo user.

Starting on 19 June 2024 onwards, Yoodo will disable new SIM orders, new SIM activation, account registration, invite friends and customised validity extension. Despite not being able to have a new SIM order and activation, this is only to prevent any new Yoodo sign-ups and you can still replace your SIM card.

Yoodo also gave users three options on what to do with their current plan. They can either port out to another telco line, terminate their Yoodo service or continue their current plans with CelcomDigi. Also as mentioned before, Yoodo users can still continue using the services until the closing date.
