After going through an economic downpour due to the pandemic, our government is doing everything they can to bring the businesses back to life. Earlier, the e-PENJANA program that has raised a total of RM1.5 billion among private companies was introduced to distribute free RM50 (e-wallet credit) + RM50 (discount voucher and cashback) to every Malaysian e-wallet user. Now, the plan is finally going to kickstart starting from 31 July onwards.
Starting from 31 July, users of Boost, GrabPay, and Touch ‘n Go eWallet will receive free RM50 credit accompanied by additional cashback, vouchers, and loyalty points worth up to RM50. Therefore, each person will be given up to RM100 to spend on various stuff. You are eligible if you're a Malaysian that is aged 18 years old and above, has an annual income of less than RM 100000, and a registered user of the MySejahtera app.

Other than that, the e-PENJANA program works similarly to the previous E-Tunai Rakyat program. Each user can only choose a preferred e-wallet platform to get the RM50 credit. Furthermore, users must also apply for the credit before 24 September 2020 and use it before 30 September 2020.
