There's no denying that while some are concerned about WhatsApp's new privacy policy, most will continue to use it. As such, new features that improve the app are always appreciated. This time around, the developer is working on a new feature related to chat history.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing a Chat History Migration feature. As the name suggests, it will allow you to transfer your WhatsApp chat history from Android to iOS, and vice versa. Previously, this type of chat history transfer was possible only with third-party tools or modified versions of WhatsApp. If you're someone who uses an Android phone and an iPad, this feature would come in handy.

WhatsApp has been working hard on support for multi-device for quite some time now. The idea is to make it possible for you to link your WhatsApp on multiple devices, without having to log out when you switch around. You will also be able to use WhatsApp Web without your phone being connected to the Internet.

WhatsApp plan to enable chat history migration between Android and iOS is definitely good. Personally, I consider multi-device a far more important feature. How about you? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
