Previously, we mentioned how the iOS 18 could feature a lot of changes to the system UI. Now, a new rumour says the iOS 18 could feature AI-generated emoji. That said, what should you know about it?

For your information, iOS 18 is said to introduce AI-generated emojis to enhance the iPhone experience by allowing users to create custom emojis based on their text input. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, this feature is expected to add a fun and personalised touch to messaging leading to creative and funny emoji combinations to make interactions more lively and engaging.

Additionally, Apple may offer more customisation options for iPhone apps and the home screen. That includes changing the colour of app icons and arranging the home screen beyond the traditional grid layout. The update aims to provide a fresh and personalised user experience, although it remains speculative.

Moreover, anticipation is building for Apple's AI initiative ahead of its annual developer conference on June 10, 2024. Instead of pursuing AI projects, Apple will likely focus on practical applications where reports also suggest a possible partnership with OpenAI. This could improve functions such as Safari search, Siri, photo editing and transcription of voice memos.

Besides that, AI-driven features may include smart scans for notifications and web pages that aim to improve user convenience and efficiency through deeper AI integration. We have yet to confirm other details on the subject. So, we should wait for more confirmation from Apple.
