We don't really hear from ZTE in Malaysia these days, with the company keeping a low profile here. But the brand still sells its smartphones locally and keen eyes have spotted a new device on the official ZTE site (in Chinese) recently, one that's likely the company's flagship for 2020 - the ZTE Axon 10s Pro.

Late last year, Qualcomm announced the new Snapdragon 765G and 865 chipsets. At the time, it was also confirmed that ZTE would have a new device featuring one of the chipsets. Well, now it's confirmed that the Axon 10s Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 865. Going through the tech specs reveals that this smartphone also comes with up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, a 6.47-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, and a triple-camera (48MP+20MP+8MP) setup at the back.

In terms of key features, this device will support non-standalone (NSA) and standalone (SA) 5G networks. It also has a Z-Booster AI engine to optimise the device for your personal use, stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra support, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Another thing to note is that it runs on Android 9 instead of the newer Android 10.

Since MWC 2020 is just around the corner, we're most likely going to see this device officially unveiled in Barcelona. Nevertheless, it's nice to some official info in advanced rather than unconfirmed rumours. Having said that, would you be interested in getting this device in Malaysia?
