Some Apple iPhone 14 Pro series owners are reporting a strange bug which only happens when it is being booted up. Shared by several users of the device online, the bug involves flashing horizontal lines on the screen when their iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max are being turned on.

In fact, it is widespread enough that similar occurrences have been shared by users on Reddit, MacRumors forum as well as on the Apple Support forums. Thankfully, based on feedback from other users in some of these postings, the matter has been confirmed by Apple as being an iOS 16 bug instead of a hardware defect.

Hence, there should be a fix rolling out with an iOS update, with one user on Reddit claiming that they have been told by an Apple engineer that the company is preparing an update to patch the issue. As for the issue itself, the horizontal lines seem to only occur when booting up the smartphone and only the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are affected.

Well, let’s hope that the issue will be fixed soon. What do you guys think? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news.
