When it comes to sub-brands, iQOO is perhaps one of the more interesting ones design-wise. These phones come in vibrant colourways or distinctive features, like the BMW-themed iQOO 11. Now, we have details on some of the tech specs and a launch date for its successor - the iQOO 12.

According to Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 12 will pack a Samsung E7 OLED panel with 2K+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. For rear cameras, it's expected to feature an Omnivision OV50H 50MP main camera and an Omnivision OV64B 64MP telescope camera. The phone should also have a metal frame, an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, a larger battery, and 200W fast charging.

Another source claims that iQOO would launch the device in China later this year. It's a credible claim, as the iQOO 12 is expected to feature Qualcomm's next flagship chipset. After all, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is expected to debut at the Snapdragon Summit from 24-26 October 2023. However, it's believed that the global launch of the iQOO 12 will be in Q1 2024.

The iQOO 11 eventually made its way to Malaysia, so we can expect the iQOO 12 series to be launched here too. But would you be interested in getting one? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about the iQOO 12 series.
