Last month, realme confirmed that it would be launching the world's first SLED TV. It's meant to be an alternative panel type that works similarly to QLED. Anyway, realme launched its 4K SLED TV yesterday during a live-streamed event.

realme recently entered the smart TV back in May when it launched a 4K TV. According to GSMArena, This SLED TV is a 55-inch 4K smart TV with slim bezels, providing an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 94.6%. Equally impressive is the colour gamut for the TV, which is 108% of the NTSC colour standard. Additionally, it has a 24W Quad stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Other specs include a MediaTek chipset, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. You can head to the product page on realme India website for more details.

Moving to features, the TV comes with Low Blue Light Certification from TUV Rheinland so it can be adjusted to be less eye-straining. It also has Chrome Boost picture engine and full HDR10+ support for better video quality. In addition to that, the SLED TV supports Google Assistant and Chromecast. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.0 support and a total of nine other ports, including two HDMI and one eARC port.

It's quite an affordable TV too that's expected to sell at INR42999 in India, which works up to about RM2435. With that said, would you be interested in getting one of these if it comes to Malaysia? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news like this.
