realme 8s will sport a MediaTek DImensity 810 chipset with 64MP main camera

It’s not a surprise when you see realme is working on another new smartphone in a short period of time. A few days ago we just reported on a new realme smartphone that got certified which is the realme X9 and today, we got another huge leak on the specs and official images of realme’s upcoming new device the realme 8s.

According to the source, the realme 8s will be a 5G capable smartphone addition towards the realme 8 series. It will come with a 6.5-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate. No information yet on whether the display uses an OLED or LCD panel. It sports a 64MP main camera and a 16MP selfie snapper, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset coupled with either a 6GB or 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

As for the battery, it is said to have a 5000mAh battery capacity that supports a 33W fast charging. It has a side mounted fingerprint sensor and runs on realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. By looking at it, we are seeing just slight upgrades from its previous predecessors. The camera modules are the same as the realme 8 and the refresh rates are maintained like on the realme 8 5G.
